“I am an Italian musician who has been working as composer, producer, arranger and orchestrator over the past 30 years both in Italy and abroad.
I’m a graduated guitarist and I have studied composition and orchestration in Italian Music Conservatory absorbing the great musical culture of my country.
I have studied at Dams University in Bologna, where Umberto Eco (the writer of “The Name of the Rose“) was one of my teachers.
I have been a sessionman in main studios in Italy (UMBI studios, Mulinetti, Studio 7 among the others) recording for a huge number of projects.
I have worked for 25 years with one of the most important Italian artists, Bruno Lauzi and, for the same artist, I have produced several albums, film music (winning an Italian critics’ award), and edited the release of one of his poetry books for a major International Poetry Festival.
I have been producing also several albums with many other Italian and international artists, often writing also lyrics due to my early studies.
I composed music for openings, parties weddings, advertising, singers, and artists of different genres.
With the symphonic orchestra, as orchestrator, I have worked at a musical, a symphony, a requiem for choir and orchestra, a children’s opera based on the novel Pinocchio (I wrote also the italian “libretto”), and dozens of differents projects in different genres for big and small formations.
In the last years I’ve also worked in with the great german designer Peter Schmidt and the composer Gloria Bruni to an opera “La Creazione” also orchestrating the music and writing the italian libretto that has bees represented in Venice in 2022.
Recently I have worked on a piece for Staatsoper, Hamburg conducted by Kent Nagano.
At the moment I’m working on a project for the Arena of Verona.
I am very often in touch with different environments, and I like to work at different genres, since it is really stimulating for my creativity.”
